Roadside Assistance 2

#2 Roadside Assistance

Let's chat about the service providers from #1RA:-

Generally, all service providers have similar products, with a few nuances
  • The service is provided 24/7 and you pay once annually
  • ERA and Motorassist are provided by CLICO and Guardian Group when you sign-up or renew your motor insurance.
  • With CLICO you have TO PAY for roadside assistance and the maximum weight of your vehicle must be 2,000 tonnes....check out CLICO's online brochure http://sandbox.colfire.com/ERA
  • With Guardian Group it's FREE with your motor insurance, all eligibility requirements are met and the maximum weight of your vehicle is 3,000 tonnes Call 625-4415 or (GGIL) or 623-4741
  • TCM has a suite of products, of which roadside assistance is just one of them. TCM also has a Service Fee attached to its provision of roadside assistance http://www.totalcm.com/#

Personal Experience

My husband is a busy man and he cannot respond in person each time I've had an emergency on the road. He noted that my weight is comparable to that of a large bag of Ibis flour "it easy to throw you over my back and run with you" so he decided to provide me with additional support. Thank you hunni. Kisses xoxo

He purchased an annual subscription for me from TCM...I've never regretted it nor has he. The selling point for me with any product / service is customer service. The CSRs who take your request answer promptly on the third ring. I don't know how they do it... TCM's callout professionals are top notch. Plus after every callout the CSRs contact you to verify service received and feedback.

My first experience with TCM was in the car-park of my company. L* changed my flat tyre with my spare. I said thank you and was walking away. He said no Miss that's not the end of the service, it's TCM's policy that our customers do not drive on their spare so if you can meet the costs of the repair I'll follow you to Mileage Mack, St. James, where I'll wait with you until the original tyre is repaired....once again placed on the vehicle and your spare in the trunk". I smiled said "great let's go"...after Mileage Mack (by the way great service...but that's for another post 💬) a few clicks on Mucurapo Road I stopped by the Corner of Bay Road...thinking about what I should have for lunch; checking receipts...there was a knock on my window...it was L* enquiring whether something else had happened to the vehicle, because he noticed that I had stopped. All my experiences have been great.....Cost between $500-700 once per year

Isn't that service?..... So guys it's a great gift for the wives, girlfriends and significant others

  1. Is this convenience us growing as a nation or are we losing some practical skills along the way? This is the cost of progressive I guess...
